Nightline just covered designer Gloria Vanderbilt’s new book, er, release ~ Obsession: An Erotic Tale. I haven’t read it and I don’t know that I’m going to… The feminist in me is happy to hear that Vanderbilt had her fun but the artist in me gets too clear a mental picture of octogenarian escapades…
I think the book is mostly about other eras of her life and may include the sexual secrets of others. I’m not taking any chances though! No offense to the elderly. I’m glad for those who are enjoying life at any age! But I don’t want to envision people having sex after let’s say 70…Once I’m in my eighties, I’m sure I’ll view this quite differently but for the moment, I’ll pass on reading this novella!
I do give Vanderbilt props for putting it out there that those who are older and wiser aren’t limited on the subjects in which they can be knowledgeable!
