I am very excited by the Kindle 2. As a book lover, a “technophile” and an environmentalist, this gadget captures my interest on many levels.
The Kindle is to books and newspapers as the ipod is to records and cds. With a sleek exterior and a smart interior, the Kindle 2 from Amazon will store your books, read your books aloud to you or help you research any word or term that baffles or intrigues you.
My husband got one recently and it is COOL! I can’t wait until a new version comes out so he’ll buy that one and I can have his. Heheheh! Schemes glorious schemes.
I predict that within 20 years gadgets like the Kindle will render bookstores and libraries obsolete. This makes me sad and excited at the same time.
